The revised schedule for the the 2009 Lions Memorial Day Tournament can be found here.  This schedule supersedes all online posted schedules.  Please keep in mind that these schedules were created very quickly and may not be error free.  Every attempt will be made to correct errors as soon as they are discovered.  If you spot an error, please send an email to roberts4145@gmail.com and every attempt will be made to correct as soon as possible.  Finally, all games with a scheduled start time after 11:45 am on Saturday has been rescheduled to play on Sunday.  All games that were started prior to the game being called due to the weather conditions, will considered final and the score at the time at which play was postponed will be considered complete.

Registration for the 2009 Lions Memorial Cup is now open for U9/U10 Academy/Developmental Teams as well as U11 8V8 and U11 - U18 11V11 teams.  Registration fees are as follows:

U9/U10 Academy/Developmental  6V6 : $350

U11 8V8: $400

U11 - U18 11V11: $475

Due to the recent outbreak of the H1N1 flu viruses, several schools are re-evaluating their schedules to make accomodations.  In order to ensure that all players will be able to participate in the Memorial Day Tournament, the tournament committee has decided to shorten the Memorial Day Tournament from three days to two days and not have the tournament extend to Memorial Day.  As such, there will be no games played on Monday, May 25th - all games will be played on Saturday, May 23rd and Sunday, May 24th.  Team check-in is still scheduled for Friday May 23rd at the Schertz Hampton Inn and Suites.

Team Check in will be on Friday, May 22nd from 6:30 - 9:00 P.M. at the Hampton Inn and Suites located in Schertz, Texas.  Click here for  directions to the Hampton Inn & Suites.    To check in, either a team manager or coach will be required to present a copy of your team’s roster signed by your association’s registrar, laminated game cards and signed medical releases.  Please note that you must provide a copy of your roster that will be kept at team check-in.  Players are not required to attend team check in.  If you are unable to check in on Friday evening, please contact Robert Sanderson at (210)387-5089.
